Baby diapers and muslin cloths are helping my irritated skin be less irritated…..
I have been using muslin cloths or cloth baby diapers to dry my face for a few months and don’t see myself returning to regular towels. Since first posting this, I have grown to love them even more. To recap:
I have been in class for almost six weeks and have learned a ton. For instance, last week, my face was beet red after a facial, and my fantastic instructor told my classmate administering the facial not to use terry cloth towels on me anymore. Instead, he told her he keeps damp reusable baby diapers in the fridge and to finish my facial using those instead.
Then, after she put a mask on my face, she let the wet, cold cotton diaper sit on top of the mask for about 10 minutes. I was shocked at how much my skin calmed down. He explained that terry cloth could be abrasive to reactive skin and that detergent can get trapped in the loops and cause irritation.
So shocked by the results I have replaced all my hand towels and washcloths I use on my face with cloth baby diapers. I found them at Target. Ensure you get the 100% cotton ones that are NOT the pre-fold ones.
While I love both the cloth diapers and muslin cloths the same, the baby diapers do fray a bit at the ends. The muslin cloths don’t. Just a matter of aesthetics.

Love this. Looks great!!
Hi-
I’m going to order the OneSkin eye product you recommend. Would you also recommend using an eye serum with this product or not necessary???
Thank you so much for sharing this! I have rosacea, I am sure we’ve talked about it, and this will be so helpful!
